Comparison
Flick vs Loom
Short version: Loom is a full team video platform; Flick is a single-purpose browser recorder with flat pricing. Loom does more. Flick costs less for one person who just needs to send links and doesn't want a per-seat plan.

What Loom does that Flick doesn't
- No team workspace, shared library or admin controls. A Flick license unlocks publishing on the device you bought it on; your library is kept on that device.
- No transcripts, captions, AI summaries, chapters or filler-word removal.
- No editing beyond record, pause and stop.
- No comments, reactions, viewer analytics or CRM integrations.
- 15 minutes and 100 MB per clip at most.
- Screen capture needs a desktop browser that supports it (Chrome works); many phones can't share a screen from the browser.
Loom also has meeting recording, auto meeting notes and recaps, variables, and a Salesforce integration on Enterprise (loom.com/pricing, checked Oct 4, 2026).
Where Flick is simpler
- Flat price. $19/month covers unlimited published Flicks whatever your headcount, because it's per device rather than per user. Or pay $99 once.
- Nothing to install. Open the page, pick screen, camera, or both, and record.
- Free download. You can always keep the file, paid or not.
Bottom line
If you need transcripts, AI clean-up, editing, longer videos or a team library, use Loom. If you send the occasional walkthrough and want a flat price, try Flick's free Street publish first and see if it's enough.
